TITAN CONTINUES THE “PARTNERING WITH SCHOOLS” PROJECT

The TITAN N. MACEDONIA Usje cement plant worked with the Kisela Voda municipality to develop “Partnering with Schools”, a project to improve health and safety conditions at local public kindergartens and primary schools.

Launched in 2010, “Partnering with Schools” reflects TITAN’s core commitment to local stakeholder engagement. The project aims to improve environmental conditions at all public kindergartens and primary schools in the Kisela Voda municipality, and to raise health and safety awareness among students.  In 2016, the project improved health and safety conditions in eight primary schools, two kindergartens and a school for children with special needs.

TITAN N. MACEDONIA and the Kisela Voda municipality also collaborated on the reconstruction of the facades of the Krume Kepeski and Kliment Ohrdiski primary schools. The first was completed in 2016, benefiting more than 400 students, teachers and staff. Work on the second school began in 2016 and was completed in 2017.
