TITAN AWARDED NEW HONORS FOR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The University of Indianapolis has presented the TITAN Group with a special award for its promotion and dissemination of the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility. The award was made at a special ceremony held on Wednesday 9 June 2010 at the Caravel Hotel. Since the University of Indianapolis was founded in 1902 its philosophy has been to contribute as much as possible to the local community and to society at large – a commitment paralleled by the ongoing activities of the TITAN Group, also founded in 1902, in the same area of social responsibility.

TITAN Group CEO, Dimitris Papalexopoulos, has been awarded first prize for Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility at the CEO and CSR Conference, organized by CHRIMA magazine and held on Friday 11 June 2010.

Finally, the TITAN Group is the recipient of the BRAVO prize for implementation of international standards in its Report on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Growth for 2008. It should be noted that TITAN is the only Greek company to issue an Annual Report certified by independent verification authorities, and for the last three years the Report has received the highest ranking available under international standards, A+.
