In late October 2004 INTERBETON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS S.A., subsidiary of TITAN CEMENT S.A., completed its purchase of D. LIVANI – KORBETON S.A., manufacturer and distributor of ready-mix concrete in the Corinth and Xylokastro regions.

The purchase means that from 1 November 2004 INTERBETON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS S.A. will have its own presence in the concrete sector in the prefecture of Corinth, with production facilities at Pourneri, Corinth and at Kamari, Xylokastro.

INTERBETON is now active in both the aggregate and ready-mix concrete markets – its twenty-four ready-mix concrete plants enjoying annual sales of over 1,800,000 Μ³ and its thirteen quarries and mines selling over 11,500,000 tons per annum.
