In late March 2005 INTERBETON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS S.A., a subsidiary of TITAN CEMENT S.A., completed its purchase of the ready-mix cement company PAVLIDIS BROS. S.A., trading under the name EXPRESS BETON and engaged in production and distribution of ready-mix cement in the area of Halkidiki.

The TITAN Group is one of Greece’s leading producers of aggregates and cement, with a total of twenty-six ready-mix production facilities, located in the prefectures of Thessaloniki (4), Halkidiki (1), Kozani (1), Magnesia (1), Fthiotida (2), Attica (5), Corinth (2), Achaia (3), Ileia (2), Zakynthos (1) and the Dodecanese (4 – 2 on Kos and 2 on Rhodes) and with annual sales in excess of 1,800,000 m³. The Group also operates nine quarries in the prefectures of Thessaloniki (2), Magnesia (1), Aitoloakarnania (1), Attica (2), Ileia (1), Heracleion (1) and Rethymno (1), with annual sales of over 11,500,000 tons.
