ANTEA is a new company developing a new Greenfield cement plant with associated limestone and clay quarries to be located in the Municipality of Kruje, north of Tirana. It is an affiliate of the TITAN Group, aiming to construct a 3,300 tdp clinker production facility, capable of producing a total of 1.40 mil. tons cement per year.

ANTEA is needed?

• To provide cement to support infrastructure development and the national building program including roads, hospitals, schools and other buildings
• To reduce the need for Albania to import cement, eventually enable it to export cement to other countries and improve the country's financial standing (Balance of Payments)
• To enhance development at local and national level through the improvement of infrastructure and the increase of opportunities for further developments
